Here you will find the meter based contribution table which is used to determine the infrastructure contributions required for your development.

Water supply and wastewater infrastructure contributions are based on meter size and flow rate, and Single Residential Equivalents (SRE) factors are used to calculate the required contributions.

Developers must advise us of the required nominal flow rate of water, in litres per minute to service their development.

Single Residential Equivalents (SRE)

  • For water supply, SRE's are multiples of an instantaneous flow rate of 20 litres per minute.
  • For wastewater, SRE's are multiples of an annual wastewater discharge of 187 kilolitres.

Infrastructure contributions in the table below exclude credits and in most cases vacant land will have 1 SRE credit.

Submetering

Under a sub-metering agreement, we are able to bill individual strata properties separately for annual service charges and water use. In comparison to the provision of individual direct services, these types of arrangements are often a more cost effective means of servicing lots within a strata scheme by reducing the infrastructure contribution and service installation costs.

To take advantage of this arrangement, you need to establish the instantaneous peak flow rate (in litres per minute) required to service your development. This can be done by engaging a suitably qualified hydraulic or plumbing consultant to establish the flow rate required.
