Using drones at our dams

We know they're fun and great for capturing photos and video, but please be aware flying drones over our dams, catchments and other assets is not permitted.

It presents a risk to public water supply, critical infrastructure and invades the privacy with unauthorised surveillance of members of the public and our staff.

For commercial requests to fly a drone, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) over our dams, catchments and infrastructure such as water and wastewater treatment plants please obtain approval by contacting our Media Team on (08) 9420 2555.
